We want to create more space outside your home and want to hear your preference...
We want to create more places to sit outside at Friary Park. There are places where new furniture can be placed and four different uses for these have been identified.

- Spaces located on main pedestrian routes
- A range of seating heights and options
- Likely to be used for a short time

- Spaces suitable for a range of activities
- Access to tables and power/charging points
- Potential for some covered spaces

- Spaces located in areas of peace and quiet
- Comfort and opportunity to experience nature

- Spaces to gather in small groups and meet friends
- Lighting and shelter to allow for use throughout the year
Would you like to encourage more wildlife at Friary Park?
We will be working with London Wildlife Trust to provide great habitats for nature and improving connections for residents within the landscaping.
Below are six enhancements we are considering to improve sustainability and encourage wildlife to the development:

We want to tell you about proposed enhancements to Phase 1 Buildings and Architecture...
We have amended and improved the architecture and design of some areas of our proposals. This includes a proposed increase in height to two buildings within our scheme.
We want to hear your thoughts about improving the green space beside Friary Park, called Friars Place Green...
We want to retain and improve Friars Place Green and create more spaces for the community to enjoy. We’d love to hear what you feel is important?
We're committed to ensuring Friary Park is safe and well lit...
We understand concerns from existing Friary Park residents about safety and lighting issues in some places. We plan to address this by providing lighting and security features to ensure your safety.
- Safer place to be after dark
- Spotlighting on games equipment
- Welcoming light to home entrances
- Illuminated pathways in the evening
- Lighting beside trees and equipment
- Enabling evening kids play safely
We want to tell you about the new affordable Creative Hub along Friary Road...
We are working with the Creative Land Trust, who help provide affordable creative space across London. The proposals would change a commercial unit to an affordable creative unit. The aim is to provide an affordable space for creative people to work at Friary Park, helping to keep creative people working and connected to the local community.
Potting Shed and Edible Garden
We want to create a community garden, to provide space to grow plants for food. The aim of the edible garden and potting shed is give space to growing food, supporting neighbours and the new community kitchen. The edible garden will be provided in collaboration with Cultivate London.
- Community Plant Swap
- ‘Help yourself’ Herbs
- Accessible Planting Beds
- Greening-up Balconies
- Potting Shed
- Multi-purpose Plinths
